For this theme we did several activities.
The top 3:
1. a big face made with construction paper and they draw a small body. I drew the parts of the face on the construction paper and the children cut it and paste it. It was great to revise colours and numbers too!
2. The students drew body parts and made flashcards-show and tell!
3. The story: "The Gingerbread man"- we read the story, made paper puppets and a body parts puzzle.

Clothes activities part 4
Last but not least- book time ;)
For this theme, I like to use the book "Washing Line". It's a great book for the clothes theme and we can revise animals, colours, numbers... using this book. The after reading activity was a draw-they have to draw a washing line using the vocabulary that we've learn.

clothes activities part 3
3rd and 4th grades did a wardrobe! I have one that I did a few years back and I bring it to the clothes classes and they always want to do something like that. They worked in groups and here are the results...
Clothes activities part 2
The 1st and 2nd grades also did some cut and paste with this theme. They chose the clothes from the magazines, combine t-shirts with jeans, selected shoes and complete the look with their own draws. The result was fantastic! And they love it ;)
Clothes activities part 1
Time to come back...
We had lots of fun this year but I end up without time to wirte about it! Now I have the time ;)
Clothes 3rd and 4th grades:
One of the activities that the students liked was about the clothes. We did some cut and paste using magazines and the student wrote what the models were wearing. Then, inspired with that work, they draw clothes and choose an item from a magazine to complete the look. Finally, they described their fashions creation to the class-show and tell!
